PROFESSIONAL STAFF

James C. Caswell, CPA, MBA - Jim received his Masters of Business Administration-Accounting and Finance from the University of Detroit in 1962. He also received his Bachelors Degree in accounting from St. Joseph’s College, Rensselaer, Indiana in 1960. His work experience includes 7 years working for Arthur Andersen & Co. and Arthur Young & Co. (now Ernst & Young), 7 years as a partner with two small accounting firms, and he has practiced as an individual practitioner in his own practice since 1979. Jim was a member of the U.S. Army for 8 years and has a college soccer coaching license and coached for the Pacific Soccer League and AYSO for 12 years. He has many affiliations including the California Society of CPAs.

Yongli Yang, CPA - Yongli received her Masters of Science in Accounting from Missouri University in 1993 and her Master of Arts in English from Nanjing University in 1988. Her work experience includes 3 years as accountant and consultant for 2 import/export corporations, and 8 years of tax preparation and accounting work for a CPA firm and a national tax preparation firm. Yongli passed all 4 parts of the CPA exam on her first sitting in 1994 and received her CPA certificate with Maryland State Board of Public Accountancy in 1998 and received her California CPA certificate in 2004.

Matt Mahalak - Matt attended Orange Coast College in 1983 majoring in Business Administration and Accounting. He worked as an internal auditor for World Wide Group, Inc. for 2 years and worked for another CPA firm for 5 years and has worked for our firm as a computer specialist and tax advisor and preparer for 15 years. Matt also built and maintains this website.

Rosalyn Mues - Rosalyn received her Associate of Arts in Business from Cypress College in 1971. She has over 30 years of accounting experience with over 18 of those years in the general accounting department at Hughes Aircraft Company and 8 years of volunteer work in the accounting field.
